Advertising and the Meta Pixel

We advertise on Facebook and Instagram. This site contains the Meta Pixel, a tool from Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd that uses cookies and similar technologies. It tells us which of our ads led to a visit, which tours were viewed, and when a visitor started a booking, and it allows us to show follow-up ads to people who have visited this site.

The pixel sends Meta your IP address, information about your browser and device, the pages you view on this site, and any advertising click identifier (such as fbclid) present in the link you arrived from. We also store the campaign parameters of your first visit in your browser's local storage for up to 30 days, so that a booking can be matched back to the ad that brought you here. Meta processes this data as an independent controller under its own privacy policy.

Bookings via partners

Bookings are taken through Bókun, our booking system, in a checkout window embedded on this site. Bókun handles your booking and payment data under its own privacy policy. If you book through a partner instead (GetYourGuide, Viator), that partner's own privacy policy applies.
